BookAligner (Patent Pending)

As the name suggests, BookAligner is a tool that lines up books at the front of the shelves. It is most efficient with bookshelves with an integrated front lip. However, it’s not only used for books but also for items like DVDs. BookAligner guarantees that this tedious and repetitive task in libraries, called facing, is much quicker and easier, making everything look neat. It’s user-friendly, even for people with limited nimbleness.

This relates to PEMS by making life a bit easier for library staff. Facing requires visual judgment and fine motor skills, making the process consume a lot of time and energy. This can result in mental exhaustion and a drain of energy. With BookAligner, people can face simultaneously and effortlessly, supporting mental and physical health. In addition, people can feel a sense of accomplishment after being done with facing, boosting emotional health. Even though BookAligner doesn’t help create significant improvements, fulfillment and additional benefits stated on the Home page, it can inspire some knowing that you can do something about inconveniences in the workplace. We believe that no matter how small or big the convenience is, it is always a step toward a better world.

Your donations will be used to manufacture BookAligner products and distributed to libraries around the world cost-free, ensuring life is more simple in a certain aspect for the world. You can donate on the Donations Page. Donating helps us a lot with production and transportation costs!
